SF's airline route operation management system has been running for many years and is no longer suitable for the current business needs and industry development. SF urgently needs a digital scheduling system that can efficiently manage the efficiency of the company and its employees.

MOMOUX helped SF anchor the digital change scenario and create a benchmark for digital dispatch product experience in the airline industry. The new SF shipping management system has developed a highly adaptable information flow, opened up the online collaboration mechanism, optimized the business operation process, and reduced costs and increased efficiency.

How to refactor the business logic and processes of complex systems?

The airline operation management system includes the functions of all departments of airline operation, and also needs to interface with related units of the company, which is a heavy task and covers a wide range of areas. MOMOUX and SF Airlines reorganized the business logic and process, output the pain points of usage through real aircraft experience, behavioral observation and other research methods, and optimize the interaction process and experience.

MOMOUX conducted in-depth interviews with stakeholders from various business modules within SF Airlines to understand the background knowledge related to the project, industry trends and product constraints.
We recorded the work environment and work behavior characteristics of users through behavioral observation to uncover pain points. We clarified the user's decision making process through expert interviews, communicated in-depth about the process, and constructed a user mind model.
Determine staff needs for functionality and information prioritization through prototype testing and card exploration, etc. At the same time, we explore the user information concern level, explore the opportunity points, and discuss the functions and contents provided in the corresponding modules with users through A/B testing.

The study takes full account of normal and abnormal flight conditions, clarifies the respective value needs and business objectives of each user, establishes new upstream and downstream information pathways, and improves the experience and efficiency of cooperation between departments and units.

Data-based visualization aids decision making system

Flight planning is an important part of the overall system. In the past, the development of flight plans required staff to determine information such as destinations and matching aircraft types against instructions, but flights often needed to be readjusted due to various unexpected factors. Currently this information needs to be manually organized and decided, which increases the workload and time.
